A shopfront has to do several jobs at once: carry big panes of glass in slim frames so the shop is on show, open hundreds of times a day without complaint, lock up securely at night, and look good enough to bring people in. We fabricate shopfront framing and commercial doors on OMEGA's commercial systems, with heavy-duty pivots and closers, toughened or laminated safety glass, and anodised or powder coat finishes from the colour range. Commercial awning and sliding windows go into offices, workshops and clinics in the same way, sized for the opening and the wind zone.

Townhouses and Multi-Unit Developments

Much of Auckland's new housing is terraces and apartments, and the joinery on them is a volume job: the same window in a dozen sizes, repeated across every unit, delivered in the order the builder needs it. The three-storey townhouse projects on our projects page are typical. Our factory has made the joinery for more than 20,000 projects over 50 years, and we price a development line by line from the plans, manufacture in batches to the programme, and deliver labelled by unit and room. Where the programme is tight we can supply only and the builder installs; where you want one point of responsibility, our installers fit it and our guarantee covers the lot.

Compliance and Documentation

Commercial and multi-unit work comes with paperwork, and we are set up for it. As an authorised OMEGA fabricator we supply the product information and test data for the systems we use, and the Building Act requires manufacturers and suppliers to make that building product information available. Glazing is specified to the safety glass standard for the application, and thermal performance to the H1 requirements for the building type.
